We’ve Lost Too Much Business- AKA New Partner Requirements

3CX is making a few changes to their partner program – starting with minimum requirements for net-new 3CX installations.

Starting next year, 3CX partners (except bronze level) will be required to acquire a minimum of 10% of their sales through net-new business, i.e. new customers. No longer will partners be able to rely on renewals alone – 3CX needs those new customers (likely as a result of all the customers who have left due to recent changes) and is making their partners do all the work to get them.

Silver partners will be required to have 10% of their minimum sales target ($7,500) be new 8SC (or greater) sales. Gold, platinum, and titanium partners will be required to have the 10% be 16SC or higher.

Should a gold, platinum, or titanium partner fail to sell a new 16SC license in 12 months they will be demoted to Silver. If they fail to sell a new 8SC in 12 months they will be demoted to Bronze.

Bronze and silver partners, if they do not sell a 8SC license, will lose their margins.

These changes to partner program will likely drive away a lot of partners – certainly smaller partners – and will likely lead to further changes designed to increase revenue.
